Definition
You can convert full-time equivalents between budget structure elements with different pay scale valuations, either using default values (conversion based on values) or conversion factors entered in Customizing (conversion based on quantity).
The effect of activating 'Simple Conversion' is that the system offers a conversion based on quantity for transfer postings and reclassifications, even if you did not enter values for conversion factors in Customizing. The system then offers conversion using factor 1.
Use
Activate this switch if you want a conversion based on quantity - using factor 1 - to be possible, even if there are no conversion factors entered in Customizing for the relevant pay scale valuation for the transfer.
Setting this indicator means that a conversion based on quantity is allowed.
