Definition
The Manager's Desktop Framework is a basis development which is used in application programming for visualizing and modifying hierarchical structures and objects. The interface layout of an application created using this framework is divided into a left and a right screen area, in which the available functions and the objects used with them are shown hierarchically in a function tree or area of responsibility.
An application scenario consists of all the theme categories in a particular application that are available to the user on his desktop, and within each theme category, the respective (non-executable) subcategories and executable functions (transactions, reports, WWW addresses and so on) grouped together in a function tree.
The application scenario is identified with the specific application by a unique technical key (for example MWB1).
