Definition
Filter 1 for the distribution of HR master data with the message type HRMD_A, HRMD_ABA or HRMD_B.
Use
In the IDoc (segment E1PLOGI), a BAdI is used to fill filter 1 with a value.
Filter 1 can be used as a filter in the distribution model, and thereby enhances the standard filtering options for IDocs of the above- mentioned message types.
Note: There is also filter 2, which you can use in parallel.
Dependencies
If the value of filter 1 changes, and the HR master data is thereby distributed in a different system, each customer must decide whether and how the complete HR object is to be handled (complete transfer of of all master data, complete transfer for all master and transaction data, copy...). Unfortunately we cannot offer a standard solution for this case.
Example
As filter 1 you can use, for example, company code, payroll area, personnel area, or the chief organizational unit.
By using suitable filters in the distribution model you can distribute to different systems depending on the specification, for example company code 0001, 0002 to system A and company code 0003 to system B.
