Definition
Contains the interface for the target system of a consumer for the change pointer.
Use
A consumer can use the change pointer for different target system interfaces. Therefore, the framework administers the timestamp of the last update for each target system interface to track infotype changes.

Example
In the case of secondary persistencies SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) and SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator (SAP BWA), the interface of the target system is Service API (SAPI).
