This switch lets you stipulate that the system is to remind the user of deadlines for which follow-on activities are required for a budget structure element.

If, when processing the personnel budget plan, the user set a deadline or a reminder date for a budget structure element, as soon as the date entered is reached, the system checks whether open deadlines exist for the user in the system the first time they call the personnel budget plan. If this is the case, the user receives a message. They can use search help Search Using Deadline Monitoring in the personnel budget processing to identify which budget structure elements have open deadlines, and then process these.
