Use
If you select this field, commitment is created in parallel background jobs. It makes sense to set this indicator when you are expecting a very large amount of objects to be processed.
Dependencies
When you set this indicator there are other control parameters available in the corresponding reports that you can use to control and optimize background processing. For more information, see the documentation on the parameter.
The objects are first divided into packages according to the value of the parameter Number of Objects per Job. These packages are then divided into the number of jobs that you entered in the field Number of Jobs. These jobs are started as background jobs and executed in the server group entered.
You have therefore roughly the number of objects per job multiplied by the number of jobs being processed at the same time.
Lock problems can occur with parallel processing when two processes try to process the same document. You can define how often the system tries to lock a document in T77S0 switch 'HRFPM/WAIT'.
