Definition

Use

The data element describes the different processing statuses of an object with regard to commitment creation.

  • '<BLANK>' # outstanding entry in the change log
    An object receives this status as soon as a change is made to infotypes relevant to financing belonging to the object.
  • 'E' # incorrect entry in the change log
    An object receives this status if an error occurred during the financing of the object by the commitment processor.
  • 'A' # confirmed entry in the change log
    An object receives this status if the cause of the error was checked and confirmed. A workflow or the run administrator workbench can be used to check or remove the cause of an error.
  • 'W' # entry waiting in the change log
    An object receives this status if it is being processed in a commitment run.

Dependencies

For an object to be entered in the log tables, the change log must be activated in Customizing of Position Budgeting and Control.

The contents of the field also affect the financing status of the object.
