Documentation
Definition
A substitute agent in an Employee Interaction Center (EIC).
Use
Standard agents are defined for eachreason for a follow-up activity. The follow-up activity is then forwarded to the appropriate agent. It is also possible to define a substitute to ensure that a follow-up activity in the EIC is processed when the regular agent is not available due to reasons such as illness. In this case, the follow-up activity is not forwarded to the regular agent but rather to the subsitute agent.
