Documentation
Definition
Calendar days are the number of days between which the start and end date of a record lie.
Procedure
Note the following restriction: Accounting can only process a maximum of 999.99 calendar days at the present time. The Calendar days field can thus only contain a maximum value of 999.99 days. Even if an absence lasts longer than this, this is the greatest value that can be contained in this field.
To obtai the exact number of absence days in a case like this (more than 999.99 absence days), you can divide the absence into two or more records.
Examples
An employee takes unpaid leave for three years. To set up this absence completely, generate two absence records as follows:
- 1. Record: Two years = 730 calendar days
- 2. Record: One year = 365 calendar days
