Table infotypes are infotypes in which you can fill individual fields multiple times when you create a record. This lets you store information in a tabular structure.

Use
The deccision as to whether to use a field infotype or a table infotype depends on the type of information you want to store.
To help you make the right decision, compare a few of the standard infotypes and the information they contain with the type of information you want to store.
Procedure
Select this indicator if you want to create a table infotype.
Examples
Infotype "Schedule" (simplified)
This infotype is used to store the time schedules of business events. The fields Day, Time block 1, Time block 2, and Time block 3 are used for this purpose.
To define a schedule, you only have to create one record of the infotype in which these fields are filled multiple times.
Example of a record of the Schedule infotype:
Day Time block 1 Time block 2 Time block 3
1 9:00-12:00 12:00-13:00 13:00-17:00
2 9:00-12:00 12:00-13:00 13:00-17:00
3 9:00-12:00 12:00-13:00 13:00-17:00
