Definition

Use

You use this switch to determine if you want to use the enhancements to the structure. You can make the following settings:

  • Value ' ': Enhancements not activated

    If you leave the value blank, the system uses the view cluster T7780 (Object Types) to generate the evaluation path for the structure search. In this view cluster, you can set just one evaluation path for each object type.

  • Value 1: Selection of Multiple Structure Types

    If you enter the value 1, the system uses the view cluster T77OS_EXT (Structure Search) to generate the evaluation path for the structure search. In this table, you can set multiple evaluation paths per object type. Users can then choose the evaluation path they require in the structure search.

  • Value 2: Selection of Mult. Structure Types and Search w/Status <> 1

    If you enter the value 2, the system also uses the view cluster T77OS_EXT to generate the evaluation path for the structure search. In addition, the structure search in the F4 help as well as the structure and keyword searches in the object manager use the plan status stored in table T77OS_EXT. This allows users to search in a different plan status than "active" via the above-mentioned search tool.

In the standard system, the switch is not activated (value ' ').
