This indicator denotes whether the object within the current structure is a page or a node.

The indicator can take on the following values:

1. ' ': the object is a page,
2. '>': the object is a node and the objects beneath it can be displayed using the 'Expand' function,
3. 'o': the object is a node; the objects under it are displayed and can be suppressed using the 'Reduce' function.
