Documentation
Definition
Contains a unique eight-digit numerical code, that represents a specific object (for example an organizational unit, qualification or business event).
Use
In report mode, use this field to confine an inquiry/report to selected objects, by giving the object IDs of the objects that should be included.
In this report, the system interprets your entries structurally. This means the system builds a structure for each selected object, and then reports on the objects in each structure. It is possible to report on ALL objects in your plan, by leaving the Object ID field blank. However, this is not recommended for structural reports.
Select objects for reporting by naming a:
- Single object in the From field. The report documents the specified object.
NOTE: This is the recommended method for selecting objects, in structural reports. - Range of object IDs in the From and To fields. The report documents all objects that fall within the specified range.
- List of object IDs. To do so, select the right direction arrow. A window appears which allows you to enter a list.
Example
- A single object could be 50000002
- A range of objects could be 50000002 to 50000030
- A list of objects could be 50000002 to 50000008, 50000015 to 50000021, and 50000026 to 50000037
