Documentation
Definition
Contains an eight-digit number that represents an individual object, such as an organizational unit, a qualification, a business event, and so on.
Use
In report mode, confine an inquiry/report to selected objects, by entering the object IDs of the objects that should be included.
In this report, the system can interpret your entries sequentially or structurally.
If you enter an Evaluation path in the report request, the report is interpreted structurally. With structural reports, the system builds a structure for each selected object in your plan, and reports on each structure.
With sequential reports, the system reports only on the objects you request. You can include ALL objects in your inquiry/report, by leaving the Object ID field blank.
Select objects for reporting by naming a:
- Single object in the From field. The report documents the specified object.
- Name a range of object IDs in the From and To fields. The report documents all objects that fall within the specified range.
- Name a list of object IDs. To do so, select the arrow. A window appears which allows you to enter a list.
Example
- A single object could be 50000002
- A range of object IDs could be 50000002 to 50000030
- A list of object IDs could be 50000002 to 50000008, 50000015 to 50000021, and 50000026 to 50000037

Use
Use this field to help select which areas of a company should be included in a scenario.
This field lets you specify the end of a range of organizational units, for example from 50000002 to 50000030.
NOTE: The system interprets your entries structurally. This means that for each selected organizational unit, the system also includes all underlying organizational units, in the scenario. (To limit this effect use the Depth field.)
NOTE: The system also considers entries in the Plan version and Planning scenario fields, when it builds up a scenario.
Procedure
To complete the field either:
- type in the object ID of the organizational unit, or
- use the search feature to look up the organizational unit.
