DEFINITION&

This shows the status of the requested travel service.
The following statuses are defined:

  • @B3@ Open
    You have entered planning data for the travel request, but have not yet performed an availability query.
  • @B5@ Requested
    You have performed an availability query for the requested travel service. The system is now awaiting confirmation by the provider.
  • @B4@
  • Prereserved
    If you chose a specific travel service after the availability query and the availability has been confirmed by the provider, the system sets a preservation. The system is now awaiting your confirmation. In other words, the requested travel service is available, for a limited length of time, for a binding reservation to be made.
    • Reserved and confirmed You have made a binding reservation for the requested travel service via Book travel plan and booked.
  • @B6@ Selection canceled
    You have indicated via Cancel that a reserved and confirmed travel service is to be canceled. Cancelation will not be final in the connected reservation system until you confirm it via Reserve travel plan. Then the status of this travel plan will be reset to open.

Dependencies

As soon as the provider of the travel service confirms the reservation,
a reservation number is assigned and appears automatically in the
Reservation number field. The reservation number is used by the
provider to identify the reservation.
