Documentation
Definition
Allows you to mark infotype records as historical records. Historical records are permanently stored on the database, so that you can report on the information at a later point in time.
NOTE: You cannot change records once they are marked as historical. As a result, you should not mark records as historical unless you no longer require them for processing.
Supplementary Documentation - HISTO 2000
Use
In the Vacancy infotype, the historical record check box cannot be marked until a vacancy record is no longer valid (after a vacancy is filled, or you have manually delimited the record). You then have the opportunity to mark the record. To do so:
- click on the check box

Use
This field can be set (using report RHKSEND0) for
a follow-up on a business event. The business event is then "archived".
Changes (e.g. new bookings) to archived business events are no
longer possible (with the exception of cancellations).
