Definition
Specifies whether the system should include only the master cost center or also additiional cost distributions when collecting data for a data source.
Use
If you only want to include the master cost center, enter X in this field. The system then ignores cost distributions to other cost centers or any internal orders that have also been stored.
Dependencies
If you set this indicator, the system defines the appropriate master cost center as an alternative account assignment for the relevant cost items.
Example
An organizational unit has the master cost center 1015. In addition, a cost distribution of 30% to the internal order 1011 is defined for the organizational unit. The data collection method Quota Planning determines a headcount of ten full-time equivalents (FTEs) for this organizational unit.
- If you want to include the cost distribution in the personnel cost plan, do not set this indicator. The system then stores the cost item HCNT with the number ten in the Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (5010). If you use this infotype as a data basis for your personnel cost plan and display the plan in the controlling view, the system distributes the ten FTEs of the organizational unit according to their cost distribution. That is, it assigns seven FTEs to the cost center 1015 and three to the internal order 1011. The system makes the same assignment when you release the personnel cost plan and thereby create the original document.
- If you assign the entire headcount to the master cost center as opposed to distributing it, set this indicator. In this case, the data collection method determines the master cost center of the organizational unit and stores this as an alternative account assignment in the Planning of Personnel Costs infotype (5010). You have thereby explicitly defined to where the cost item is to be assigned. Consequently, the system does not distribute the headcount in the personnel cost plan. Instead, it assigns all ten FTEs to the cost center 1015.
