Use
If you set this indicator, the period from which the SAP system collects data and the period for which the SAP system collects data are identical.
Dependencies
When you execute a data collection report, the SAP system takes the indicator into account. Then, on the selection screen, you only need to enter the data collection period.
Example
If you want to collect data from the Basic Pay infotype (0008), it is useful to set the indicator. The system then always takes the most up-to-date data from the infotype into account.
If you want to include one-time payments from the current year in the planning for the following year, it is not useful to set the indicator. On the selection screen for the data collection report, you then enter a data selection period in the current year and a data collection period in the following year.
