Definition

A sliding bar that you can use to determine the layout of the values that can be selected on the Web template.

Use

When you select the Slider button, the selectable values in the Web template (such as the overall appraisal with a value scale of 1 to 6) are shown as sliders. The color of the slider changes depending on the value selected.

Recommendation

Note that the appraisal document becomes less easy to read if the slider has too many values that can be selected (for example, 10).

If, in the appraisal document, you have multiple sliders that use different scales, the identical colors of the sliders might imply that they are comparable to each other, which may not be desirable (see also Dropdown Lists and Radio Buttons).
