If you set this indicator, the SAP system uses this column for the appraisal element (= line) in question . The system activates the cell from the combination of line and column.
If you set this indicator from the template, you also restrict the number of columns used in the appraisal document. Only the columns that you have selected are used in the appraisal document. This means that all directly assigned elements can only contain up to the maximum number of columns defined in the template.
