Use

You specify in this field whether or not you want to include a field in the appraisal document that allows participants to enter notes for a cell.

If you select No Note, no note field is displayed.

If you select one of the following values, you assign a particular property to the note field:

  • Note
Every participant can change the note.
  • Note Can No Longer Be Changed
Every participant can read, but not change, a note written by another participant. A field for entering a note is available for every participant.
  • Note Display
An objective is added from the Balanced Scorecard, for example. If a note has been added to this objective, it is displayed but it cannot be changed.
  • Required Entry
Every (part)appraiser must enter a text in the note field before he or she can save the appraisal document.
  • Note, Draft Allowed
In addition to the note field that is displayed, the (part)appraiser can enter draft notes in a separate dialog box. Draft notes remain visible to the (part)appraiser who created them until he or she has released the notes or the status of the appraisal document changes.
  • Required Entry, Draft Allowed
In addition to the note field that is displayed, the (part)appraiser can enter draft notes that remain visible to the (part)appraiser who created them until he or she has released the notes. Before the status of the appraisal document can be changed, the (part)appraiser must enter a note.
