Definition

Statement wage types are used to allocate bonuses to a wage type under a different name in the payroll results.

Supplementary Documentation - GVALA 0001

Use

General Description

In Payroll, a base wage type can be updated and stored as a statement wage type under a new name. Under this name, it is available for creating the remuneration statement, for example. If you do not specify a base wage type, the result is automatically stored in the base wage type.

Note

Unlike base wage types, you must always specify a statement wage type for derived wage types. You use derived wage types to generate bonuses in order to pay additional remuneration. Statement wage types make it possible for you to further process bonuses separately in payroll and to evaluate them separately in the subsequent payroll programs (remuneration statement, payroll account, payroll journal) .

Use

A wage type can be forwarded to and stored in payroll under a new name as a statement wage type. If you do not enter a statement wage type, the result is stored in the wage type itself.

In contrast to the actual wage type, you always have to enter a statement wage type for derived wage types.
