Documentation
Definition
The data element displays the status of the execution of a GRMG scenario. GRMG scenarios monitor the availability of software components, usually components in an SAP J2EE Engine.
The availability of the monitored components is not displayed here, but rather whether the GRMG infrastructure was able to successfully execute a scenario. Successful execution means that the GRMG infrastructure was able to create an HTTP connection to the monitoring GRMG application and to exchange valid XML documents with the application.
An error is displayed if, for example, it is not possible to create a connection, or the GRMG application does not give a valid response.
Use
The system displays the status of the GRMG scenario in the Run Status column. The following can be displayed to indicate the status:
- 'Green Checkmark': The scenario was successfully executed. The availability of the monitored components is displayed in the alert monitor.
- 'Red Cross': The scenario could not be successfully executed. The error message for the execution is displayed in the monitor CCMS Self-Monitoring, in the subtree GRMG_Self-Monitoring. No availability data for the monitored components is displayed in the alert monitor.
- 'Gray Circle': The GRMG infrastructure did not attempt to execute the scenario. This can be because the scenario was deleted from the GRMG Customizing tables, or the GRMG infrastructure was deactivated. Reasons for deactivation are, for example, that the infrastructure was switched off, an error in the execution of the infrastructure, or problems with CCMS method dispatching.
