Definition

The total which is displayed for a group change depends on the sort criteria.

The parameter is used to create totals when a group is changed. Each input column stands for one sort term.
The 'sort criteria' parameter helps you determine the meaning of the columns.

The individual columns have the following meaning (from left to right):

  • G - municipality
  • A - payroll accounting area
  • B - company code
  • W - personnel area
  • B - personnel subarea
  • A - employment status

Group totals can only be formed if the values are not compressed according to the sort criterion; a '0' should not appear in the same column as the 'sort sequence' parameter.

The totals are output after a group change.

Check:
Numbers 1 - 6 must appear in the same column as the sort parameter.

  • 3rd character: 'A' Payroll accounting area
  • 4th character: 'B' Company code
  • 5th character: 'W' Personnel area
  • 6th character: 'B' Personnel subarea

Permissible options are:

  • 'X' : Trigger group change
