Definition
The splitting rule determines how budget validity periods are generated.
Lifecycle states of a grant are mapped to a budget phase. Each phase has a budget status and a split definition.
The splitting rule cannot be changed in the grant master if budget has been assigned to the budget phase associated with the current grant lifecycle status.
