• Grant
All grant-dependent activities take place in this process. Record creation of a grant and grant element additions take place during this process.
• Sponsor
All sponsor-dependent activities take place in this process. Record creation of a sponsor (business partner) and sponsor element additions take place during this process.

In an integration scenario, both elements might be mixed. An example of this would be the addition of an element "sponsor" during creation of a record for a "grant".
