Documentation
Definition
Task name for Grants Management (GM) report tracking process. It is associated with the task type:
- If the task type is a program (value 0), the task name is the program name.
- Note:
- We recommend that you register the programs to the Schedule Manager, although you can still schedule a program even if you do not register it. However, if a program is not registered, the Schedule Manager Monitor cannot display information on it, nor can the program be used in the flow definition.
- SAP note 325118/2001 has the details about how to connect a program to the Schedule Manager.
- If you use the F4 search help, only the programs registered in the Schedule Manager are shown. However, you can still type in the program name if it is not registered to the Schedule Manager and you decide to use it.
- If the task type is a flow definition (value 1), the task name is the name of the flow definition. A flow definition is a workflow created from the Schedule Manager.
- The flow definition comprises a sequence of tasks. If you schedule this flow definition, then the system automatically processes the tasks in the order specified.
