Definition

The statistical posting indicator determines if, by default, a grants management value type is statistical or real for a grant. These indicators are maintained for each combination of either:

• Grant type and lifecycle status OR
• Grant type and lifecycle status and user status.

A blank value indicates a real posting.

These indicators can be overridden in the posting tab of the grant master, field statistical, and are maintained in Maintain Grant Types.

Note

Financial transactions are a special case. For example, invoices (as opposed to MM transactions) are not affected by setting the statistical flag at the grant type+status level, but they can be overridden at the grant level.
