Definition

The lifecycle status of a grant is a SAP system status. The following lifecycle statuses are implemented:

• I5613 GMDR Initial draft
• This is the initial state when a grant is created.
• I5614 GMPR Proposal
• I5615 GMAP Application
• I5616 GMAW Award
• This is the productive phase. The change to status award triggers sales order creation and anything else required for regular postings and billing of the sponsor.
• I5617 GMCL Closed
• No posting is possible once a grant is closed.
• I5618 GMPC Closing
• This is a preclosing state which can be configured to block postings (such as new invoices). Otherwise, it is the same as Award.
