The funding type is a generic attribute of the document type and therefore, of the entire budgeting cycle. This attribute can have the following values:
- Sponsor's Funds
- Refers to budget coming from the external source - that is, the sponsor.
- Cost Sharing
- Refers to those funds needed in a matching or cost-sharing scenario. The funds used in this case are always the internal funds of the organization.
