Definition
Within the context of the GM-FM interface, this attribute indicates which is the original source for budgeting for grants. Possible values are:
- Grants Management
- All budget activity is initially entered in Grants Management using valid grants, funds, sponsored programs and classes.
- Funds Management
- Budget is first entered in Funds Management with the dimension grant filled with a value of space or with the corresponding value indicating funds "Not relevant for Grants". After this takes place, any entry document in Grants Management causes a transfer posting between the original budget entered in FM and the objects specified in the GM-FM interface.
