Definition

Classifies the depreciation areas for Annex 16.

Use

The Annex 16 report uses this field to determine the purpose of depreciation areas according to Japanese corporate tax law. You select one of the following depreciation area types:

  • Depreciation area for book
  • Depreciation area for tax
  • Depreciation area for direct reduction
  • Depreciation area for reserve fund
  • Depreciation area for tax without additional depreciation
  • Depreciation area for reverse fund without additional depreciation
  • Derived depreciation area for difference between book and tax areas
  • Depreciation area for direct reduction without additional depreciation

Dependencies

To enable the Annex 16 report to recognize the depreciation areas, you must have assigned a depreciation area type to a depreciation area in the IMG activity Assign Depreciation Area Type to Depreciation Area.
