Definition
Shows that amount that the Japanese corporate tax law allows you to write off for a given asset.
Use
You use the write-off amount in the forms Annex 16-5 and Annex 16-6.
Dependencies
In the Annex 16-5 form, the write-off amount is the smaller of the depreciation shortage amount and depreciation excess amount.
In the Annex 16-6 form, the write-off amount is the smaller of the depreciation shortage amount and deferred depreciation excess from previous period.
