Definition
In MCA processes, the indicator sets the package size checking mode to "on" or "off".
Use
In package size checking mode, the system does not update the database. The system only runs the process to determine the number of line items or balance lines to be processed in each package of the parallel process instances. Just as in "normal" process execution, the system writes the number of lines to the application log of the process.
You use the package size checking mode to determine the settings (runtime and Customizing) that best lead to equally sized packages.
Adapt the settings by either modifying the select options with which you start the process or modifying the Customizing settings for parallel processing: Define Packages for Parallel Processing
