Specifies the profit center to which an ECS item or its document belongs.

Example

If the original profit center was incorrect, and the FI document was posted to a profit center pending correction, this field in the ECS item contains the profit center to which the value was posted. This is referred to as the posted profit center. The system also saves the original profit center in the ECS item. If you then correct the ECS item manually, the system also saves the correct profit center.
