Documentation
Definition
Exchange rate type whose average rate is used to determine the the buying rate.
Use
The only rates you need to maintain are average rates. The system determines the buying rate by taking the average rate and subtracting the spread.
Procedure
If you maintain a buying rate in your system, enter the appropriate exchange rate type for the average rate in this field. This reduces the amount of exchange rate maintenance you need to carry out in the currency translation table.
Examples
With an average rate of DEM -> USD 0.68000 and a spread of 0.00400, the buying rate is calculated at 0.67600.
Dependencies
If you enter the exchange rate type for the appropriate average rate in this field, you must maintain the spreads for all relevant currency pairs of this exchange rate type.
