Documentation
Definition
Defines a multiplication factor for the planning values.
Use
The factor in the copy function helps you to adjust your planning values and compensate for deviations in your planning. You can use it in the following way:
- Factor 1 or more/less: When you multiply with factor 1 you simply adopt the planning values from a certain date range. If you want to increase or decrease the planning values by a certain percentage, you can choose a factor that is higher or lower than 1.
- Factor 0: You can use this factor to initialize fields for a certain date range.
- Factor -1: You cannot operate with a negative multiplication factor.
