Definition
Device that is controlled by another device in a device allocation.
Usually, the controlling deviced is connected in front of the controlled device.
Dependencies
Depending on the allocation type, the controlled device must have certain attributes (such as a basic device category).
Example
- A meter is controlled by an audiofrequency ripple control receiver via a command.
- An indirect meter is controlled by a transformer (or transformer group) and has the same billing factor as that transformer (or transformer group).
- A meter is controlled by a pressure regulator and has the same measured pressure as that pressure regulator.
