Definition
This entry field contains the date that will be the new end date of the edited object. (All objects exist for a particular length of time, which is defined by the validity period. The validity period consists of a start date and an end date).
Use
You want to change or postpone the validity period of an object or infotype.
All data records whose validity period starts after the delimitation date are deleted. Otherwise, only the portion of the data record is deleted that lies after the delimitation date.
