Use

Allows gaps in correspondence creation.

Examples

A customer receives monthly invoices.
If there are no receivables for one month, no invoice should be sent.

In this case, you should set the gaps permitted in correspondence creation indicator in the correspondence type.

If the indicator is not set, a blank correspondence entry is written in the correspondence history. A letter is not created.
