Supplementary Documentation - GIDAT 0004

Use

The system checks for which materials physical inventory is to be carried out during the specified interval.

Procedure

Examples

A given material is to be cycle counted every 10 workdays. The last physical inventory was carried out on Wednesday two weeks ago. Consequently, the next physical inventory for this material is due this coming Wednesday.

If you plan a cycle count for next week (count date interval = Monday through Friday), counting of the relevant material will be scheduled for Wednesday.

Use

In this field you specify when the delimitation of an object or an infotype record takes effect. The system then executes the delimitation on the following day. This means that all data records that exist after the date you enter are delimited.

This field is defaulted to the current date, but you can specify a date in the future.

Procedure

To complete the field:

  • choose <Enter> to accept the default, or
  • enter a new date by typing over the default.
