Definition

Indicator for repeated reading of the Customizing settings.

Use

A range of Customizing settings are required for the processing. These are needed for checking the imported data, for example. This also includes the determination of valid fixed values for individual fields from the Data Dictionary. This data and these settings are read automatically during the log on to the system. Therefore, you do not need to set this parameter the first time you call a BAPI in a session. Because the process for determining the data and the settings is time consuming and the content is relatively constant, the settings and the data do not need to be read again each time the BAPI is called. On the other hand, by setting the parameter you can force the repeated determination of the data and the settings. This may be the case, if during the current session changes have been made to the data or the settings that are relevant for the current processing, for example.
