Shipping problem messages are classified by the problem reference. Each problem message you record in the system has a unique reference to one of the following areas:
- Home delivery
- Carrier route
- Delivery round
- Edition
A type of shipping problem message is defined for every possible problem reference in the Customizing settings for shipping (Media Sales and Distribution).
