Definition

The currency of the transaction describes the nominal currency of a transaction. The field is filled with the following instrument-specific currencies:

For caps/floors and OTC options, the premium currency is used.

For swaps, the currency of the outgoing side is used.

For forex transactions, the following currency of the currency pair is used.

For all other transaction categories, the nominal currency is used.
