Definition
Ensures that the system executes a simulation run and that the data is not updated in the database.
In a simulation, all tasks and checks are done as in the actual run but the system does not save the results. The simulation run does not affect the data and can be repeated as often as you want.
If you do not select this checkbox, the system executes an update run. The data is modified and the database is updated with the results of the report.
Use
You use a simulation run to check whether an update run will be successful.
