Definition
Key that uniquely identifies a contract account for each client.
Use
In Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, postings are always assigned to a contract account and abusiness partner.
In contract account master records, you can define procedures for each business partner that are to be used for the further processing of line items. These includepayment methods,dunning procedures, andtolerances.
Note
In the industry-specific components Utility Companies and Insurance, a contract is assigned to one contract account only. However, depending on the contract account category, several contracts can be assigned to one contract account.
