Definition

Activates the phonetic search for the fields Name1/Last Name and Name2/First Name.

Use

If you set this indicator, the system creates a search term from both the fields Name1/Last Name and Name2/First Name that is compared with the phonetic search terms for existing business partners. All the business partners that match the search term are displayed in the hit list.

Dependencies

The phonetic search is set for German-speaking countries in the standard system.

You can display the settings and make adjustments to the phonetic search in the IMG activity Set Phonetic Search for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services. We recommend you make changes only when you have to enter settings for another language area.
