Documentation
Definition
Specifies the input substance, output substance, or ingredient of a formula, depending on the field.
Use
Dependencies
Example
Supplementary Documentation - FRMLE_SUBID0001
Definition
Key of a substance that is created in the process as the output substance.
Use
Enter, for example, products, co-products, and by-products as well as wastes and catalysts that may be released.
Via the item number of an entry, you specify whether the substance is used as a standard or alternative item.
Dependencies
It depends on your Customizing settings which substances of which specification types you may use as output materials of a formula.
Depending on your Customizing settings, you may also not be allowed to assign the same output substance to a formula more than once.
For information about further aspects you need to take into account, see Formula View Generation.
Supplementary Documentation - FRMLE_SUBID0002
Definition
Key of a substance that you use as an input substance in the process.
Use
Enter, for example, the raw materials consumed in the process, semi-finished products, and packaging material as well as catalysts that may be required.
Via the item number of an entry, you specify whether the substance is used as a standard or alternative item.
Dependencies
It depends on your Customizing settings which substances of which specification types you may use as an input substance in a formula.
Depending on your Customizing settings, you may also not be allowed to assign the same input substance to a formula more than once.
For information about further aspects you need to take into account, see Formula View Generation.
Supplementary Documentation - FRMLE_SUBID0003
Definition
Key of a substance that is created as the output substance in the process.
Use
Double-click the output substance whose composition you want to display or edit in the lower screen section.
Dependencies
The output substances are automatically taken over from the I/O substances view. Only the standard items are taken into account. For absolute item quantities, their proportion of the base quantity is calculated and displayed (for example, in the unit %). You cannot change the entries on the Composition view.
For information about further aspects you need to take into account, see Formula View Generation.
Example
Supplementary Documentation - FRMLE_SUBID0004
Definition
Key of a substance that is contained in the output substance you selected.
Ingredients describe the analytical composition of an output substance.
Use
The composition of an output substance is process-specific. Enter the ingredients along with the quantities that are produced when you execute the process described in the formula and its recipe.
You can maintain the process-independent composition of a substance in the specification database.
Dependencies
It depends on your Customizing settings which substances of which specification types you may use as ingredients in a formula.
Depending on your Customizing settings, you may also not be allowed to assign the same ingredient to a formula more than once.
For information about further aspects you need to take into account, see Formula View Generation.
Example
Supplementary Documentation - FRMLE_SUBID0005
Definition
Substance key of the substance item that is assigned to the material item you selected.
Use
The system fills this field:
- When you generate the I/O materials view from the I/O substances view
- When you generate the I/O substances view from the I/O materials view
For more information, see Formula View Generation.
Dependencies
Changes you make to the material item selected also apply to the substance item assigned.
