Definition
Material price that is specified in the material master.
Use
The price that is displayed was copied by the system from the material master. Since several prices can be defined for a material, you specify which price provides the base for the calculation by choosing a price from the dropdown box in the Costs view (for example, standard price or moving average price). You can specify a default value in Customizing that is automatically selected when the Costs view is called.
You can change prices that are used for a material or substance. Select the line in question and choose the price you wish to use, using one of the following pushbuttons in the toolbar:
- Use Material Price
- Use Substance Price
- Use Manually Set Price
You must then trigger a new calculation using the Perform New Costing pushbutton.
Dependencies
The field containing the price that is to be used for the material or substance is colored. The Curr./UoM field displays the currency and unit of measure on which the price is based. The values are copied by default from the parameters in the costs dialog.
