Documentation
Definition
The price does not exist in the system, you enter it manually.
Use
You use this field in the Costs view to test prices that you assign to a material or a substance. The advantage of this is that you do not have to create the price in the material master or substance master.
The manually entered price is used in the calculation of the costing price (pushbutton Perform New Costing) for the material or substance, if
- The priority is higher than that of the other prices (Customizing settings in Price Priorities).
- You choose the Use Manually Set Price pushbutton and therefore overwrite higher priorities.
Dependencies
The manual price is buffered in the Workbench for the length of your work session and also remains in the system if you are editing a different formula at the same time. It is only deleted when you leave the Workbench.
If you want to reset the priorities that were overwritten for the substances or materials, choose the pushbutton for the formula in question.
